Dell launched its power gamer’s laptop Alienware M17X. This laptop is very powerful with Nvidia’s graphics, Intel CPU technology, and a new design. It features a variety of colors, including silver, black, and red, and its 17″ LCD sports a covering comprised of a single sheet of glass, which runs from edge-to-edge makes it look like a complete masterpiece. The M17x also allows the users to switch between discrete or integrated graphics and a ‘Stealth Mode’ in which the discrete graphics cards are turned off and other components throttle down to achieve a 65W power limit. This gives a clear indication that it doesn’t target not only the gamers but also the other section. The M17X features up to dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 280M 1GB video cards in SLI mode which is a perfect for gaming. The other features include Intel Core 2 Duo processor, upgradeable to quad-core Core 2 Quad / Extreme. The other features include maximum of 8GB of DDR3 memory, up to 1TB of hard drive space or up to 512GB of solid state drive storage, a slot-load DVD burner. If you want to upgrade to the current trend then they also provide Blu-ray optical disc. The complete technical brilliance can be seen with the additional integrated GPU that can be used to save battery when dedicated graphics is not needed. Thus the Alienware M17X is complete monster for both gamers and others.
