The New Birds of Angry Birds Space
In addition to the new mechanics of the recently developed Angry Birds Space, there are a couple of new characters which have joined to help the original cast in their goal to defeat the pigs. Furthermore, some of the original casts have returned but now appears different than their earth counterparts such as:
· Red Bird: Red Bird returns in this latest installment of the Angry Birds franchise. Though he did not get any new skills and functions the same as the original red bird from the original Angry Bird series, he now wears a superhero like mask and appears fiercer than before.
· Blue Birds: They work the same as their original counterparts except that they just look a bit different. Rather than just the typical blue bird appearance, they now have yellow wings which look similar to what Captain America has on his helmet. Furthermore, they are not just dyed blue but their upper portions are colored red. They appear similar to the Pokeballs that are used to contain the Pokemons in the Pokemon franchise.
· Ice Bird: The Ice bird is one of the latest additions in this new Angry Bird game. Once it hits an obstruction, it freezes it which makes the obstruction easier to destroy the next time a bird is flung to it next.
· Lazer Bird: Lazer Bird is the latest iteration of the Yellow Bird in the original Angry Birds game. Basically, he works the same as the original except that his attacks look cooler and wears a cool visor and a cape as opposed to the simple yellow bird design.
Angry Birds Space is one of Rovio’s most interesting revisions so far of the original game and is one of the most challenging as of yet. But any veteran Angry Bird player and or new player will definitely enjoy the game.
